I've got the tools.
I've got the time.
Now all that's left for me to obtain is the ****ing improvement.
First, I will master the skeleton. I will master how it looks, its flexibility and all possible angles and positions (this applies to all stages).
Then, I will master the musculature. I'll master the sizes depending on how fit the body is, the shape and where each muscle slots in (around the skeletal structure).
Finally, the skin. Again, depending on the health of the body, I'll need to learn how much muscle/fat shows underneath the skin. My aim is to learn all body types, both male and female, and be able to draw them at a professional level.
If I don't know how to draw a naked body, how will I know how to draw a clothed one? My main issue with clothing will be drapery and how it fits around the body type. After gaining a firm grasp of the naked body, I feel mastering clothes will come naturally.
I know all of this won't come easy, but months of practising and study will no doubt set me on the right path.
I hope to have a strong understanding of the human body by the end of year (at least).
All of this is necessary if I want to become a successful animator.
